Better homecare, one agency at a time

Nila acquires independent UK homecare agencies and runs them on our AI platform. Families get care they can count on. Owners get a fair exit, a team that's looked after and a business that keeps growing.

Care regulated by the CQC. Same carers, same local office, better tools behind them.

You're arranging care for someone

Visits at home from carers you'll come to know by name, whether that's half an hour in the morning or full live-in support. We'll talk you through what's needed and what it costs before anything is agreed.

You own a homecare agency

We buy good agencies from owners who are ready to step back, and we keep the team and the clients they have looked after for years. Founders run this process, not a corporate development desk.

The platform

Software that gives the hour back to the person receiving care

Every agency we acquire moves onto the same system. It handles the scheduling, the notes and the paperwork, so carers spend their time caring and managers can see what is actually happening.

Rotas that hold

Visits are matched on skills, travel time and who the client already knows, so the same faces keep turning up and late calls get covered before anyone notices.

Notes without the paperwork

A carer speaks their visit note at the door. Nila writes it up, files it against the care plan and flags anything that changed since last time.

Early warning

Small shifts in mobility, appetite or sleep reach the care manager while they are still small, which is where avoidable hospital admissions get stopped.

Families kept in the loop

A short, plain update after every visit, in an app a family can read from anywhere, so nobody has to ring the office to find out how Mum is.

For agency owners

Selling to us, start to finish

Most owners we speak to have spent fifteen or twenty years building something that only works because they are in it. We buy those businesses, keep the team, and take the on-call phone off you.

Talk to a founder
  1. 1

    A conversation, no bankers

You speak to a founder about the business, why now, and what you want for your staff. Nothing goes further until you want it to.

  2. 2

An indicative offer within a week

Share your accounts and hours delivered and we will come back with a number, how we got to it, and how it would be paid.

  3. 3

    Diligence in the open

One shared checklist, one point of contact, and a weekly call. You will always know what is outstanding and who has it. Your team need not know until you are ready to tell them.

  4. 4

    Completion, then a proper handover

Contracts, CQC notifications and TUPE handled by people who have done it before. Most owners stay on for a few months; some stay much longer.

  5. Afterwards

The local office stays open and carers keep their clients. Over time the agency moves onto the Nila platform, and how the business is presented is something we work out together.

Questions we get asked

How quickly can care start?

Usually within a few days. We visit to assess what is needed, agree a plan and a price with you in writing, and start once you are happy with it.

Are your carers employed and checked?

Yes. Carers are employed by the local agency, enhanced DBS checked, trained to the Care Certificate and supervised by a registered manager. Every service we run is regulated by the CQC.

Does AI mean fewer people in the home?

No. The software does the rotas, the notes and the admin. It does not do the visit. The point is that a carer spends the hour with your relative rather than on their phone writing it up.

What size of agency do you buy?

Independent domiciliary agencies across England, Scotland and Wales, private-pay or local authority funded. If you are unsure whether yours fits, ask — the conversation costs nothing.

What happens to my staff?

Staff transfer under TUPE on their existing terms and keep their clients and their local office. We are buying a business that works because of the people in it.

Do I have to stay on after the sale?

That is your call and it shapes the deal. Some owners hand over in three months, others stay to run the region. We will structure it around what you want.

Find out what your agency is worth

A founder reads every one of these. Tell us roughly where the business is and we will come back with an indicative valuation, in confidence, within a week.

Treated in confidence. Nothing is shared with your team or your clients.
